November 2017 officially marked our partnership with New York On Tech.
‘Succeeding in a Digital Economy’ was a two-hour networking event and panel discussion for underserved high school students, aimed at helping them create an online presence.
The Guest Speakers
Hillan Klein, our Chief Operating Officer, gave the keynote speech and officially announced Namecheap’s partnership with New York on Tech. Namecheap will be offerings free resources and trainings at workshops in which students will learn how to utilize the tools to create their online presence.
The workshops will be relevant to the students’ progression, and ones easily transferable to a workplace or college.
Also presenting at the event were other industry professionals, including Jessica Santana and Evin F. Robinson, the co-founders of New York on Tech. Everyone shared their knowledge and experiences to a room full of attentive students, who were engaged with what the guests spoke about.
Here’s what people had to say about the event:
We will run the workshops throughout the spring. These will be presented to students who want to focus on their digital presence in greater detail.
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to New York On Tech and everyone who helped us make the networking event possible.
If you are one of the students who attended, and would like to share your story with us, get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
